Position OverviewOur client is seeking an Architect to support a significant affordable housing development in New Haven, CT
. This project includes the historic rehabilitation of 98 residential units alongside the ground-up construction of 150 new units
, offering valuable experience across both adaptive reuse and new construction.
The selected candidate will play an active role in advancing the project through the Design Development (DD) phase
, contributing to Revit modeling, documentation, and technical coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for an architect interested in large-scale multi-family work and community-driven housing initiatives.
This is a 3–6 month contract assignment
. The role is ideally two days per week in the Westport, CT office
, with flexibility depending on the candidate’s availability and experience.
- Assist in producing and coordinating Design Development drawing sets
- Support documentation for both historic renovation and ground-up construction components
- Develop and manage Revit models and drawing packages
- Coordinate with internal teams and consultants
- Contribute to detailing and technical documentation efforts
- Strong proficiency in Revit
- Experience on multi-family or residential housing projects
- Ability to contribute at the DD phase with strong technical documentation skills
- Comfortable working across renovation and new construction scopes
