Location: Weston, WI (service area up to 40 miles)
Superior Skilled Trades is collaborating with a reputable plumbing company to bring a skilled Journeyman Plumber onto their expanding team. This position centers on both new builds and renovation work, providing consistent, year-round employment in a professional setting that values craftsmanship and reliability.
Position Overview
As a Journeyman Plumber, you will:
- Install and service plumbing systems for residential and commercial projects in full compliance with plumbing codes.
- Perform septic system installations for residential properties (previous experience is helpful but not required).
- Cut, assemble, solder, thread, and join PVC, CPVC, PEX, copper, and gas piping.
- Review and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate, high-quality installations.
- Map out pipe routes, fixture locations, and wall/roof penetrations.
- Oversee all aspects of assigned jobs and work independently in the field.
- Keep your truck stocked with necessary materials and communicate when supplies need to be replenished.
- At least 5 years of plumbing experience, specifically in construction environments.
- Current Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber License.
- Strong ability to read and apply blueprints.
- Comfortable working with all standard piping materials and installation processes.
- Capable of managing full job scopes without direct supervision.
- $41.25 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
