Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM with liver call responsibilities

• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts

• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month

• Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience - NOT just organ harvesting

• Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment

• Experience required in transplanting organs into new patients

• Will float within scope to meet facility needs

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (at time of submittal), NIHSS (prior to start)

• 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required

• 40 hours of orientation required

• Must complete EKG and Pharm tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation

• Must be nicotine-free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

• Must participate in teaching and training students and new staff

• All RTO must be submitted at time of initial submission

The facility maintains a smoke-free environment and operates 18 operating rooms with a daily census of 55-60 patients.
