Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10 shifts

• On-call required: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month

• Float within scope to meet facility needs

• 40 hours of orientation required

• 2 years of direct RN OR experience required with strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurosurgical experience

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)

• Epic charting system experience preferred

• Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff as this is a teaching facility

• Must complete time-sensitive modules prior to start (average 6-15 hours)

• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each

• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine drug screen required

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)

• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application

• Experience with extensive surgical procedures including robotic surgery, orthopedic procedures, neurosurgical procedures, and various specialty surgeries required

With 18 operating rooms and a daily census of 55 patients, the facility serves adult and geriatric populations while maintaining its role as a teaching institution.
