POSITION:
School Nurse

10 month position

LOCATION:

Weston High School

QUALIFICATIONS:

RN with Bachelors Degree

CT State License

Current CPR/AED certification

Pediatric nursing experience required

Previous school nursing experience preferred

Experience with electronic medical documentation preferred

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Maintaining student health records/immunizations based on CT State guidelines

State screenings and State surveys

Provide first aid and emergency care to all students

Medication administration per MD orders

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain wellness and social/emotional wellbeing of students

Serve as a member of the school team such as Crisis team, PPT and case manage all medical 504's.

Terms of Employment and Compensation:

* 182 days

* Compensation and benefits per the contract between the Weston Board of Education and AFSCME
