MET Technician

Location: Worle

Our Motor Trade Client is an accident repair centre based in Weston-super-Mare and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.

Starting salary up to £45,000 per annum, pending experience.

40-hour working week, Monday to Friday from the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekends required.

Duties:

Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical and trim items on our client's vehicles.
To be able to identify hidden damage after stripping and assist with compiling parts and labour lists in conjunction with work colleagues.
Ensure all work is completed safely, maintaining the highest standard of repair efficiency.

Requirements:

Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, however, our client is willing to consider candidates with no formal qualifications who have a prior track record in vehicle body repair/strip and fit
ATA qualification would be beneficial
Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre

For your hard work as a MET Technician / Fitter for our client you will be paid up to £45,000 with OTE circa of £50,000.
