Position: Private Client Solicitor 2 – 4 years PQE

Our client is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience to join their established and client-focused legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for private client work to build on their experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of a busy private client department, providing high-quality legal advice and support to individuals and families. The role offers exposure to a wide range of private client matters and the chance to work directly with clients on meaningful legal issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on all aspects of private client law, including wills, estate planning and succession matters.
  • Drafting, preparing and reviewing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and related documentation.
  • Assisting with estate and trust administration, including applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
  • Providing clear and practical legal advice on tax, inheritance planning and related matters.
  • Handling Court of Protection work and advising on deputyship where required.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and excellent service standards.
  • Managing your own caseload efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified solicitor with 2 – 4 years’ PQE in private client law or related practice areas.
  • Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, probate and estate administration.
  • Excellent drafting, advisory and client care skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A professional and approachable manner, with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services.
