Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Catering Manager for St Marks Primary School. This role works term‑time only, with no weekends, ideal for those seeking flexibility.
The Role- £13.50 per hour
- 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- Term‑time only – 39 weeks per year
- Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
- Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
- Enhance Caterlink’s reputation for excellent food and service with the client and customers, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the location and supervise teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
- Act as the main point of contact for our client in the school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
- Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets, ensuring they are achieved.
- Support and train teams, leading by example to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed.
- Blended learning programme that may include formal qualifications such as apprenticeships, classroom training, eLearning and on‑the‑job training.
