Overview

Ashcombe Court supports an 8 bedded home for Mental health, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury and Learning Disabilities, as well as support with everyday living skills like shopping, cleaning and cooking. Our staff support people to have fun and make every day the best it can be for each person.

Job Role: Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Weston-super-Mare BS23

HOURS: 35 per week

Salary: £13.20 - £13.90 per hour

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service, including:

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience with in the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.
