Teaching Assistant

North West/ contract / £13.69 - 13.69 per hour

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a large, inclusive secondary school in the Southport area. We are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide high-quality classroom support across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a school that values strong relationships between staff and students, with a clear focus on behaviour, engagement, and academic progress. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive environment where staff are encouraged to help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with secondary-aged pupils, or for recent graduates and aspiring teachers who are looking to gain valuable school-based experience. The role is set to be a long‑term role until Christmas, with potential to be extended further.

• Supporting students KS4 – KS4 in 1 to 1 and classroom settings.
