Castelan, a leading national furniture care business based in Weston-Super-Mare, is seeking a dedicated Parts Liaison Administrator to join our dynamic team. RolePurpose
As a Parts Liaison Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of parts within our organisation. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to deliver timely and effective service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolve order discrepancies and monitor supplier performance.
- Efficiently process and track parts orders from internal departments, ensuring timely delivery and providing regular updates to customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensure optimal stock levels and address potential shortages.
- Pick and dispatch parts in accordance with agreed service level agreements.
- Maintain precise records of all parts orders, deliveries and returns, and update the departmental knowledge base with accurate information.
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding parts availability, costs and delivery, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to learn and utilise our in-house claims system.
- Understanding of customer service principles and the claims process.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem‑solving and adaptability skills.
- Experience in a logistics environment or with telephony customer service is desirable.
