Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
  • Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
  • Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting our loyalty program.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment while complying with all health and sanitation procedures, ensuring the store is presentable and all products are in‑stock.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; not required with at least one year of retail management experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and automotive liability insurance during employment.
  • Ability to multi‑task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high retention, identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and encourage productivity.
