Base pay range$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join one of our client teams. Our Financial Analyst is a collaborative team member supporting core business analysis and metrics for the account. If you are a clear communicator, organised with effective time management skills, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt, with the highest standards of behaviour, a collaborative manner and work ethic then this role is for you.
Whatthis job involves:
- Preparation and analysis of variance reports that clearly communicate actuals vs budget/forecast differences, highlighting both favourable and unfavourable variances
- Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast preparation and review
- Partner with operation teams to understand their strategic goals and provide financial guidance
- Support team’s efforts to develop efficient reporting strategies including worksheet automation and simplification of reporting processes
- Maintain working knowledge of Master Services Agreement and any relevant amendments
- Support cost‑savings and process improvement initiatives
- Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
- Special projects and other functions as required by manager
To apply you need to be:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 4 years of related work experience
- Strong accounting skills
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel experience is a plus (pivot tables, lookups, VBA/Macros)
- Proficiency in computer‑based accounting applications; experience with JD Edwards platforms a plus
- Strong analytical, organisational, and coordination skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills to internal and external parties
- Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
- Understanding of and commitment to client service
- A desire to work within a fast‑paced, diverse, collaborative, and driven team environment
