Project Designer (Prestress)

County Materials Corporation is seeking a Project Designer for County Prestress & Precast, LLC, located in Westmont, IL.

The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.

Base Pay Range: $23.75/hr – $28.00/hr.

Full-time, Associate level.

• Prepare drawings as required or instructed by Project Coordinators.
• Prepare piece drawings (minimum of two days) prior to their production dates.
• Make changes to AutoCAD or Revit drawings as required or directed.
• Provide clerical assistance to the Engineering Department as required or requested.
• Order embed plates and loose material well before it is required so material can be fabricated, assembled, and delivered.
• Work closely with the Project Manager/Engineer to solve casting and field problems as necessary.
• Office working environment.

• Sitting frequently.
• Carrying/Lifting 10–40 pounds rarely.
• Standing / Walking / Climbing.

• AutoCAD or Revit certification, or Autodesk certified.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and perform AutoCAD or Revit tasks as directed.
• Previous experience preferred but not required.
