As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company while you process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change, assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints, follow all front‑end procedures, help with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed, and maintain knowledge of weekly ad items.

You give customers direction for product location, stay informed about events and seminars, communicate with the front‑end manager and Head Cashier, and ensure checkout areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained. When assigned, you also perform any other related duties promptly.

• Be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Be outgoing and friendly, with a positive attitude and an ability to interact with customers.
• Demonstrate proficiency with front‑end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Be dependable and reliable, able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have good communication skills and be able to take direction, constructive criticism, and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitive activities, multi‑task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Be able to lift/carry product horizontally or vertically up to 30 lbs., from 36” to 24”, for up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Be able to move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs. for up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours.
• Show strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers; proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills; able to read, write, and count.

Pay range: $15.10 – $19.00 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
