Job Title: Manufacturing Scheduler

Job Category: Full-Time, Hourly

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Position Overview

FR Conversions is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Scheduler to support our growing production operations. This role reports directly to the Master Scheduler and is responsible for translating customer demand and material availability into efficient, executable production plans. The Manufacturing Scheduler ensures that the right resources - people, parts, and processes - are aligned at the right time to meet delivery goals without compromising quality or efficiency.

You will be embedded within the heart of our production planning team and serve as a vital connector between Procurement, Production, Engineering, and Quality. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, and a continuous improvement mindset. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing and a passion for structure, timing, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities Production Scheduling & Coordination
  • Develop, update, and manage daily and weekly production schedules using ERP/MRP software.
  • Prioritize and allocate production resources to ensure balanced workloads.
  • Adjust schedules proactively to minimize delays.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary liaison between production, procurement, warehouse, and quality control.
  • Communicate schedule changes promptly.
  • Participate in daily planning meetings.
Material Planning & Inventory Alignment
  • Review material availability and coordinate with purchasing.
  • Identify shortages and track consumption patterns.
  • Assist in reconciling material variances.
Data Reporting & Process Improvement
  • Generate reports showing schedule performance.
  • Analyze schedule adherence and production performance.
  • Recommend improvements in scheduling processes.
Salary & Compensation

This is a full-time, hourly position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. All salary payments are subject to applicable taxes and with holdings in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills Required
  • 1+ years of experience as a Production Scheduler or in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems for production scheduling and resource management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), along with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with scheduling software like SAP or Oracle is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with teams and suppliers.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of material planning or production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS CPIM or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
