• Under minimum supervision, respond to calls for respiratory therapy equipment and compressed gas cylinders needs throughout the hospital.
• Deliver compressed gas cylinders and maintain respiratory care equipment; support respiratory care services staff.
• Perform all duties required of a respiratory care support services technician.
• Oversee and indirectly manage student tech activities within the department.
• Ensure tech services are delivered in accordance with the mission and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center.
• Under minimal supervision, perform a variety of administrative, secretarial and complex clerical duties for the team.
• Follow complex oral and written instructions, exercise independent judgment, and use word processing software in accordance with established office procedures and hospital policies.
• Collect and prepare data for management assignments, reports and presentations; assist with monitoring department QA/QI initiatives.
• Direct calls, take accurate messages, or respond to calls using knowledge of policies, procedures and practices.
• Support audiovisual needs of the department and produce educational videos and PowerPoint materials for staff meetings, events and QA/QI tracking initiatives.

• Preferred High School Diploma
• 1-3 years preferred
• Must be enrolled in an approved Respiratory program
