Schedule

Day shift, Full-time – 8:30am‑5:00pm

Job Summary

The Associate in this position will be a member of the Patient Access Services Team. The Associate will be responsible for pre‑registration of scheduled patients and verification of insurance for both scheduled and emergency admissions, ensuring all services align with the mission statement and the SPIRIT values of Service, Performance, Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years overall, with at least one year working in a healthcare or medical business office or hospital environment, knowledge of patient registration, insurance, and managed care benefits. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the public (Required)
  • Medical Terminology Certificate
Specific Requirements

Good communication skills; ability to read, write, and process insurance information, maintain logs, and use the telephone with a strong customer‑satisfaction orientation.
