We’re looking for friendly and reliable team members to join our IGA supermarket in a Cashier / Night Fill Staff or Fresh Food Staff role.

Location:

IGA Westminster    Role 1:
Cashier    

What you’ll be doing    - Operating POS systems, cash and card transactions  - Delivering helpful and friendly service to every customer  - Assisting with stock management (rotating stock to ensure freshness (FIFO)), receiving deliveries, and maintaining store presentation (pulling down and replenishing shelves with reserve stock)  - Keeping the store clean, safe, and welcoming    What we’re looking for    - Previous supermarket or retail experience (preferred)  - Excellent customer service and communication skills  - Reliable, organised, and able to work independently  - A friendly, positive team player    This role is perfect for students or those starting out in retail who enjoy a fast-paced environment.
Role 2:
Night Fill Staff    Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries  - Pulling down and replenishing shelves with reserve stock  - Rotating stock to ensure freshness (FIFO)  - Keeping aisles neat, safe, and well-presented

What we’re looking for:

- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit  - Able to work evenings and weekends  - Positive attitude and willingness to learn             - No prior experience required – full training provided    Role 3:
Fresh Food Staff    Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing fresh fruit items, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and ready-to-go meals    - Slicing, weighing, wrapping, and labelling deli products  - Unloading, stocking and rotating fresh produce, ensuring correct pricing and quality  - Maintaining clean, well-presented deli, bakery, and produce displays  - Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times

What we’re looking for:

- A quick learner with a positive and proactive attitude  - Reliable, punctual, and available for early morning shifts  - Organised, efficient, and detail-focused  - Passion for food and willingness to contribute ideas  - Able to work independently and as part of a team    This role is ideal for juniors, school leavers, or those starting their retail career.
