Job OverviewAs a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $18.50 to $20.50 depending on your skills and experience.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 8‑12 hours.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for communication, reporting time, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Responsibility for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores. - Holiday support:
During peak seasonal demand before and after holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may work additional days, extended hours, or on the holiday itself, including weekends. - Department resets:
Assist in installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Notifications are given two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends. - Team support:
As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support team members in their territories as needed.
Physically demanding: push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lbs and up to 50 lbs on occasion. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand continuously, and may climb stairs or ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
