Do you have a passion for cleaning, building upkeep, and customer service? If so, bring your unique talents to our Ascent team as a full‑time Groundskeeper (Property Caretaker). In this role you will clean common/public areas and assist our maintenance service team members on more involved projects. Above all, you will maintain positive relationships with peers, residents flap and others you support.
Schedule& Hours
- Sundays to Thursdays, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. No on‑call shifts required, except for occasional evening or weekend on‑call rotations when needed.
This role supports Ascent, our 255‑unit market‑rate building in Westminster, CO.
Essential Functions- Caretaking
- Maintain exterior grounds and interior common areas in quality, presentable condition (sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, polishing floors).
- Dust, wash and polish walls, ceilings, light fixtures and blinds; move furniture and equipment as needed.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walkways, raking leaves, and removing snow.
- Facilities Maintenance
- Assist maintenance with preparing and turning vacated apartment units (painting, cleaning, carpet shampooing, repairs) within 24 h or 5 days if alquimized.
- Assist in scheduling and completing preventive maintenance of buildings and equipment.
- Perform building repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep—especially for more involved operations or projects.
- Walk the property daily to ensure resident/tenant rules are followed, property is clean and orderly.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
- Work the last and first days of each month until responsibilities are completed; overtime may be required.
- Property Management
- Maintain excellent relations with residents, tenants, vendors, and internal organizations.
- Keep management informed of property conditions, resident complaints, and suggestions for improvement.
- Co‑ordinate unit inspections in partnership with management.
- Respect resident/tenant privacy, including specific commercial tenant needs.
- Review turnover schedule with management.
- Report lease and policy violations to management.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned. On‑call rotations as required.
- Qualifications
- 1–3 years of custodial or janitorial experience, ideally in residential or commercial real estate.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

- Employees may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, mechanical parts, and vibration. Noise levels can be loud.
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- May need to lift or move items over 50 lb.
- Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay Range: $20–$22 per hour + commission/bonus eligibility. Pay is based on experience, skills, and knowledge школьуi;
