Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking an X-ray Tech/Medical Assistant who provides expertise and champions patient care. We value teamwork and support for each other.

As a Limited Scope Operator/MA, you will:

  • Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
  • Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts accordingly.
  • Gather patient history and document in EHR.
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
  • Assist with check-in/check-out, including chart audits.
  • Maintain records of radiology, lab work, drug screens, and external lab reports.
  • Inform patients and visitors about clinic progress.

You should have:

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience (helpful but not required).
  • Experience with EHR systems (beneficial).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or approved BOTP program.
  • State licensure as Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO/LMRT).
  • Current certification from AAMA preferred.
  • Current BLS certification (required within 30 days of start).
  • Ability to obtain Federal Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months.
