Job Description

A Wireless Technology Solutions client of Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their team in Westminster, CO. This role is a critical technical position focused on designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting functional test fixture systems for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), which are essential for manufacturing wireless electronic products and accessories. The Manufacturing Test Engineer will collaborate closely with hardware and firmware engineering teams to define and implement testing requirements using Python, while also working with contract manufacturing support teams and occasionally traveling for onsite maintenance or new fixture installations.

Additionally, the position involves contributing to PCBA design and testing hardware/software during product prototyping, investigating manufacturing issues and customer returns to deliver effective and permanent solutions, and optimizing functional tests in partnership with other engineering teams.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent problem solving skills and a team-player mindset. This position can pay between $40-$50/hour and offers medical benefits and 401(k) options on contract.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in manufacturing test engineering or product development, preferably in high-volume wireless electronics manufacturing.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting end‑of‑line testing and product debug on manufacturing lines.
  • Experience with test fixture design and sourcing.
  • Strong, current working knowledge of Python or a similar high‑level scripting language.
  • Working knowledge of analog and/or RF circuit analysis, electronic theory, and test instrumentation.
  • Hands‑on electronic troubleshooting experience.
  • National Instruments Test Stand and Lab View experience is a plus.
