Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced 3D Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in 3D modeling, digital sculpting, and a deep understanding of human anatomy. As a 3D Artist, you will be responsible for creating custom mannequins and related products that align with our clients' brand identities and meet functional requirements.

What You Will Do
  • 3D Modeling and Digital Sculpting:
    Utilize ZBrush, Maya, 3DMax, etc. to create high-quality, realistic models of mannequins and products.
  • Anatomical Accuracy:
    Apply a solid understanding of human anatomy to ensure realistic and proportionally accurate designs.
  • Creative and Sculptural Aptitude:
    Demonstrate a modern aesthetic and a sound creative vision in all design work.
  • 3D Printing and Manufacturing:
    Collaborate with various teams to optimize designs for 3D printing and other manufacturing processes. Ensure final products meet quality, dressability, and durability standards.
  • Innovation and Exploration:
    Continuously investigate new ideas, processes, and tools to enhance design and production workflows. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in 3D design and manufacturing.
  • Rendering and Visualization:
    Create detailed renderings and visualizations of products for client presentations and internal reviews.
  • Retail and Brand Awareness:
    Show an interest in retail design and brand identity, understanding the end-use of mannequins as clothes-wearing displays.
  • Project Management:
    Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to shifting priorities and deadlines. Maintain an organized and detail-oriented approach to all tasks.
  • Self-Directed Work:
    Exhibit a proactive and self-starting attitude, capable of working independently and taking initiative without needing detailed guidance.
  • Quality Control:
    Perform thorough self-checks and critiques of designs, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission for review.
  • File Management:
    Maintain organized, logical systems for file storage, ensuring easy access and usability for all team members.
  • Client Focus:
    Understand customer needs and the practical application of products, providing design solutions that meet client expectations and enhance the retail experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related training in 3D design, digital sculpting, digital product design, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional setting as a 3D artist, designer, or generalist.
  • Expertise in ZBrush, Maya, and 3D Max.
  • Familiarity with rendering environments and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Excellent technical skills in digital sculpting, 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing technologies and design for manufacturing.
  • Creative, organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
