Overview

Our growing company is in need of a Branch Product Manager in our Colorado market. The Branch Product Manager coordinates quotes, negotiates pricing with suppliers and contract manufacturers, drives and promotes key supplier lines and facilitates product training for the branch.

Position title: Branch Product Manager

• Coordinate quotes by working with sales staff, suppliers and the corporate Product department to develop a price that is competitive and offers the largest gross profit margin.
• Provide technical product knowledge to branch employees by sharing information with Sales and support staff, and facilitate monthly product training to keep the branch up-to-date on current technology and industry trends.
• Drive and promote key supplier lines by obtaining maximum exclusive competitive advantages from suppliers.
• Gather market information from sources such as sales reps, networking, and trade publications.
• Develop relationships with supplier factory representatives to achieve the most favored status and address problems.
• Provide product support by responding promptly to issues and using problem-solving skills to resolve pricing, accounting, and inventory management issues.
• Maintain cost database by adding, changing, deleting cost and ship debit information with accuracy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor s degree in a related field and three years  experience in a related role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous sales and electronics industry experience is preferred.

• Possesses knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, gross profit analysis, market and vendor analysis, and economics of distribution.
• Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications at the intermediate level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to type 40 words per minute (preferred).

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Total compensation for this position is a combination of base plus commission. Base pay range is $57,500 to $68,000. Total compensation targeted for this role is $69,500 to $86,000. The actual compensation offered may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and incentive target will be finalized  disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differential.

This wage range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical to hire at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
