Overview
Customer Service/Sales role at The Home Depot. The position focuses on providing fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
Base pay range$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr
The actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities- Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in the department; learn how to handle basics in adjacent departments.
- Provide information about products using company tools to help customers select and complete purchases for a project.
- Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas; ensure the area is clean, shop-able, and safe.
- Follow safety policies and standards; complete safety training; correct hazards or report conditions to the Manager on Duty; work safely to avoid endangering yourself, co-workers, vendors, or customers.
- Collaborate with the Department Supervisor, other associates in the department, and other departments.
- Work in store departments such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing and Tool Rental as applicable.
- Role types may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
