RN - ICU

Critical care registered nurses are adept at providing care in settings where patients have suffered severe medical issues such as heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, or respiratory distress. The role demands a high level of proficiency in assessing patient conditions and implementing comprehensive care plans.

• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
• Assist physicians in performing procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Ensure proper functioning of ventilators and other medical equipment
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Collaborate with the critical care team
• Respond to life-saving situations following nursing protocols
• Act as a patient advocate
• Provide education and support to patient families

• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
