Partner Technical Enablement Specialist
Job Location: Remote US (Up to 25% Travel)
Our Division: Trimble Owner & Public Sector (O&PS) – part of the Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Owner (AECO) business operations.
What You Will DoWe’re looking for someone with strong technical know‑how in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Permitting Digital Project Delivery (DPD), and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS), along with high business acumen, hands‑on experience, and collaboration skills. You’ll help new and seasoned partners develop best practices for implementing Trimble’s asset lifecycle management platform and integrations that realize their vision and drive toward organizational goals. You’ll become a trusted advisor while interfacing with Trimble staff and technology partners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical enablement for the Trimble Owner & Public Sector Partner Community.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for partners, offering proactive advice on technology strategies, architectures, best practices, product selection, and release planning.
- Understand vision and drivers for how Trimble’s technology integrates with partners' solutions.
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of Trimble, Esri, and partner products and services.
- Address incoming partner support to ensure best‑fit solutions aligned with Trimble/Esri best practices.
- Prevent issues through proactive support, scheduled technical reviews, training, certification, and relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with internal Trimble teams (Product Engineering, Education Services, Documentation, etc.) to align partners’ technical objectives with business goals.
- Support annual partner technical planning meetings, preparing and presenting high‑quality business and technical documentation.
- Assist with product information inquiries and benchmark requirements with urgency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Geography, GIS, Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of designing, implementing, administering and/or supporting enterprise solutions that leverage Trimble and ArcGIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Online).
- 3+ years of project, customer and/or technical management experience.
- Demonstrable ability to translate partners’ business goals into technical plans and solutions.
- Experience with SaaS software configuration and integration.
- Strong knowledge of data formats (HTML, XML, JSON, etc.), data transformation techniques, and JavaScript.
- Experience with APIs, REST, SOAP, webhooks, and low‑to‑no‑code integration platforms (FME, Power Platform, etc.).
- Proficiency in SaaS testing strategies and evaluation of expected results.
- Background with relational databases and SQL.
- Proficient with G Suite and web technologies.
- Independent and collaborative work style.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for system integration.
