Wound Care Nurse Coordinator

Location: Four Seasons - 8365 N. Newburgh Rd., Westland, MI, 48185

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Care Nurse Coordinator to join our healthcare team at Four Seasons in Westland, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating wound care services, ensuring high‑quality patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective wound management plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage wound care services for patients, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care interventions in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding wound care management and prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and patient progress.
  • Monitor and evaluate wound care outcomes to improve patient care quality and reduce complications.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff regarding wound care best practices and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies related to wound care.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.
  • Proven experience as a Wound Care Coordinator or in a similar wound care nursing role.
  • Strong knowledge of wound care principles, techniques, and products.
  • Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Effective communication and patient education skills.
  • Certification in Wound Care (e.g., WOCN, CWCN) preferred but not required.
