We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Social Work to lead our social work department in Westland, MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work leadership, program development, and team management, with a passion for improving client outcomes and fostering a collaborative work environment.

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the social work department.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate social work programs and services to meet community needs.
• Supervise, mentor, and support social work staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and reporting requirements.
• Promote professional development and continuing education opportunities for staff.
• Advocate for clients and the social work profession within the organization and community.

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in social work leadership or management roles.
• Strong knowledge of social work principles, practices, and ethical standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals.
• Experience working with community organizations and healthcare providers preferred.
