Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide exceptional care to clients in Westland, MI. In this role, you will assist patients with daily living activities, promote their independence, and support their health and well-being in a home environment.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the healthcare team.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow care plans and instructions given by nurses and supervisors.

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and family members.
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Westland, MI.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to pass background checks.
