Buy Minority Week (April 7-12, 2025)

The City of Westland is proud to recognize Buy Minority Week, taking place from April 7-12, 2025. This weeklong initiative encourages residents to support minority-owned businesses, fostering economic growth, diversity, and inclusion within our community.

From restaurants and boutiques to service providers and local artisans, Westland is home to many talented entrepreneurs who contribute to our city’s vibrancy. By choosing to shop, dine, and do business with minority-owned establishments, you help strengthen small businesses and promote equitable opportunities for all.

Throughout the week, the city will be spotlighting local minority-owned businesses on social media, sharing their stories. We invite residents to participate by visiting these businesses, sharing their experiences, and using #Buy Minority Westland on social media to spread the word.

Supporting small businesses means investing in our community. Let’s come together to celebrate diversity and economic empowerment during Buy Minority Week!
