Principal Software Engineer​/Developer

Position

Description:

Builds automation pipelines using Dev Ops concepts and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- Jenkins. Defines and implements appropriate testing frameworks and applies standard methodologies, using JAVA, Python, and Spring Boot. Crafts new solutions and re-platforms legacy applications within Cloud-based architectures -- AWS and Azure. Builds efficient database processes using PL/SQL Stored Procedures containing Extract Transform Load (ETL) functionality.

Creates Windows batch scripts and develops complex workflows for ETL processing, using Informatica Power Center. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) analyzing and designing payroll domain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to integrate financial data between multiple data sources.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent)  and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) analyzing and designing payroll domain Application Programing Interfaces (APIs) to integrate financial data between multiple data sources.
