Hours: 9:30 pm – 6:30 am

Schedule: Sunday‑Saturday

Location: Westlake, OH

• Performs equipment cleaning per CIP Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
• Performs plant cleaning as outlined by the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Maintains general housekeeping in all areas of the plant.
• Disassembles and reassembles filters, screens and other processing equipment.
• Handles and uses chemicals including acids, chlorines, caustics and quats.
• Tests and records chemical concentrations.
• Conducts visual inspection of equipment.
• Performs absence‑of‑allergen analysis.
• Performs clean‑equipment swabbing.
• Complies with appropriate safety procedures.
• Maintains and uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• May perform other duties as required.
• Overtime and weekends may be required.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

• Self‑motivated.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and industry‑standard cleaning procedures, HACCP and allergens.
• Establishes positive working relationships with Lyons’ management and senior support personnel.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year(s) of experience preferred within related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail to identify areas needing cleaning and ensure compliance.
• Effective communication skills essential for collaboration with the team and reporting sanitation issues.
