The Life Safety Manager is responsible for monitoring the safety, security, transportation and central supply operations for the entire campus, which includes parking lots. This position implements safety procedures, regulations and norms to ensure that the environment is safe for residents, associates, and guests.

• Provide oversight and direction to the team so that goals and objectives are met.
• Responsible for maintaining Fire and Emergency processes, procedures and audits. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate safety and monitoring procedures throughout the campus.
• CPR/FA training and FIT Testing.
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate records for ODH and OSHA (Life Safety and Emergency Preparedness binders). Survey Readiness.
• Investigate safety and security incidents that occur on campus property. Resolve all queries and complaints in an efficient manner.
• Oversight and management of Quantum and call light systems.
• Oversight of the Wander guard system.
• As a working Manager, provides staffing coverage for some shifts as needed.
• Oversight of welcome center and future monitoring of concierge.
• Oversight of transportation, to include all maintenance and invoicing on vehicles and central supply with providing coverage as needed.
• Maintain all door and fire safety.
• First Responder to any fall that occurs with a Resident in Independent Living.
• Provide Operational Support when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. College degree in related field preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid training.
• Valid Driver's License.
