Job Summary:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in delivering complex business and technology solutions within the financial services domain. This position requires a forward-looking, self-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong analytical, collaboration, and customer-focused skills. The role focuses on Derivative Trade Processing and Collateral Management, supporting and enhancing Calypso-based financial applications while partnering closely with business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex business and technical problems and deliver effective, scalable solutions
• Define clear, concise business and system requirements for financial applications
• Support, enhance, and configure Calypso-based solutions
• Provide domain expertise in Derivative Trade Processing and Collateral Management
• Work closely with developers, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Lead and support projects involving teams of analysts and developers
• Coach, mentor, and guide less experienced team members
• Collaborate with business partners to evaluate trade-offs and solution options
• Support application architecture understanding and solution design
• Ensure high-quality delivery of sophisticated technology initiatives
• Maintain strong stakeholder communication across business and technology teams

• 10+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst within the financial services industry
• Strong expertise in Derivative Trade Processing and Collateral Management
• Hands-on experience with Calypso configuration and CATT tool
• Proven ability to define clear, concise business and system requirements for financial applications
• Experience supporting, enhancing, and configuring Calypso-based solutions
• Strong understanding of application technology and software architecture
• Experience collaborating with development teams, QA, and business stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Excel, SQL, Postman, and API/microservices-based applications
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
