Salary Range: [Not Provided] Job Summary: The Patient Care Technician provides direct care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role includes assisting with assessments, documenting dialysis treatment parameters, and supporting emergency procedures as necessary. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care as instructed by licensed nursing staff.
• Accurately document patient treatment information.
• Assist nurses with pre- and post-dialysis assessments and their documentation.
• Monitor and record dialysis treatment data on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Support and execute emergency operational procedures.
• Initiate basic CPR in cases of cardiac or pulmonary arrest.
• Respond promptly and effectively to dialysis-related emergencies.

Experience Requirements:

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related healthcare facility preferred, but not required.
• Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
• Must possess a current CPR certification.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background in physical sciences or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
