Position: Environmental Services Technician (Laundry) - Summer Help

Overview

Environmental Services Technician (Laundry) - Summer Help in Westlake, OH 44145. This is a temporary full-time position on first shift, approximately 12 weeks over the summer, with potential for year-round possibilities. We will work with your summer break dates if you are a current student.

Responsibilities
  • Focus on laundry with the ability to float to other areas within the environmental services team as needed.
  • Additional duties could include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting assigned residential rooms and common areas.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Maintain a cleaning chart indicating areas cleaned and inspected.
  • Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.
  • Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or repairs or maintenance needs.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior laundry, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • A solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • High school diploma/GED or 1 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge including ability to complete required online safety classes.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to pass FBI background check and State of Ohio BCII background check.
  • Must be able to pass sanctions checks for working in health care facilities.
  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Weekly pay - $12.00 - $14.00/hour dependent on experience and skills.
