Investment Consultant

We are currently seeking an
investment consultant
to join our team. The consultant is responsible for serving as the primary contact to institutional clients for the delivery and coordination of all aspects of the client relationship.

Client type primarily includes defined contribution plans, but may also include: defined benefit plans, foundations, endowments, and corporate assets. In addition, the consultant will assist Highland’s business development team in the growth of new business.

• Serve clients through regular client communication and client meetings
• Establish and maintain scalable processes to increase effectiveness of service delivery and business development activities
• Write, proofread, and edit proposals and materials, as needed
• Manage the content systems (e.g. CRM and other business development oriented software) used to serve clients and for business development
• Assist with the generation of leads through emails, phone calls and centers of influence
• Contribute to reporting on metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of activities

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, human resources, employee benefits or related field
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an investment consulting role working on defined contribution or defined benefit plans
• CFA, CPA, CFP, or CEBS designation (or progress towards a designation) is preferred

Highland serves a wide array of clients, including defined benefit and defined contribution plans, foundations, endowments, and other institutional investors. Clients also include high net worth individuals.
