About the Role

An excellent opportunity has become available for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position plays a key role in managing the full order lifecycle, supporting customers with accurate information, and working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, providing professional support via phone and email.
Prepare accurate quotations and process orders from initial request through to completion, ensuring all documentation meets internal standards.
Use ERP (SAP) and CRM systems to maintain customer data, manage orders and quotations, record interactions, and produce reports with a high level of accuracy.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure orders progress smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints, ensuring positive outcomes and maintaining strong working relationships.
Support technical enquiries and trade counter sales with clear, factual information and a solutions-driven approach.
Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation required for internal or external use.
Follow company processes and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
Identify and escalate any health and safety concerns promptly.
Demonstrate a strong personal commitment to Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.
Carry out additional duties assigned by Line Management, ensuring tasks are completed safely and within agreed timescales.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential

Experience in a customer service, internal sales, or order-processing environment.
Working knowledge of SAP or ERP System
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a close-knit team.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to high standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
