Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, treat, and help patients improve their physical mobility and manage pain. The PT will develop customized treatment plans that promote recovery, improve function, and prevent disability. This role involves working closely with patients and healthcare teams to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and pain levels.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical evaluations.
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to enhance patient function and reduce pain.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document treatment outcomes and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and quality assurance policies.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage patients in therapy programs
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings
- Specialized certifications (e.g., Orthopedic, Neurological, Pediatric PT)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)
- Specialty certifications such as Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) or Neurologic Certified Specialist (NCS) (preferred)
