Accounting Clerk

Connections Personnel is hiring for a temp to hire Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk for our client located in Westfield, NJ. Looking for a candidate to work for a busy and successful pool liner company assisting with bookkeeping, accounting and general office duties. Candidate must have extensive understanding of Quick Books, MS Excel, Google Sheets & report generation. Must be organized, willing to learn companies process and procedures and be a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive understanding of Quick Books to perform bookkeeping duties.
• MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Sheets and report generation background required.
• Excellent telephone / communication skills to communicate with clients and partner companies.
• Must be able to work in a busy office and work independently.
• Must be organized.
• Must assist with general office duties.

Requirements:

• Must have 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Must have Quick Books, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Casual work environment. (jeans and sneakers are fine)
• Must speak English and have excellent communication skills.
• Drug test/background checks done prior to starting.

Schedule:

9am-5pm Monday thru Friday
