Position: Precision Assembler (Entry Level or Experienced)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Westfield, MA, for a Precision Assembler. The Precision Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-precision medical device components, adhering to rigorous quality standards, and following detailed work instructions. The position also requires collaboration with quality assurance and engineering teams to ensure product accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble high-precision medical device components in accordance with detailed work instructions and quality standards
  • Inspect components for quality and verify conformance to specifications
  • Operate specialized tools and equipment used in assembly
  • Maintain records of production activities and traceability
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to ensure product accuracy and compliance with specifications
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in precision assembly, mechanical assembly, and using hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and ability to conduct inspections
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Prior experience in the medical device or precision manufacturing industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is advantageous
