Global manufacturing organization located in the Indianapolis area is hiring a Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions at a non-union manufacturing facility with more than 1,000 employees. The plant is relatively new, equipped with modern, high-end manufacturing systems, and continues to grow.
This role is best suited for an HR leader with 10–20 years of experience who has worked in manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of 10+ HR professionals (HR Generalists and support staff), ensuring HR policies and procedures are executed consistently and align with company objectives.
- Lead Human Resources - recruiting, onboarding, and employee training efforts to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into operations and culture.
- Lead from a HR perspective employee relations matters including disciplinary actions, internal investigations, workplace disputes, and conflict resolution.
- Administer HR compensation and benefits programs, including job pricing, salary benchmarking, and benefits oversight.
- Role requires decision making, planning, responsibility for shaping Human Resources outcomes (not just policy enforcement)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR (Human Resources) or Business Administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Progressive HR career with 10+ years in Human Resources management roles.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse operations is strongly preferred.
- Seeking an HR leader capable of operating strategically, tactically, and hands-on in day-to-day plant HR.
