Part-Time Certified Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary

Ella Community Pharmacyis a small, independent retail pharmacy that is continuing to grow. We’re seeking a self-motivated, dependable individual who focuses on providing excellent healthcare and customer service. We want to add someone to our team who is committed to working hard for the business's success to achieve greater rewards.

• Proficient in current technology system(s) to perform the following tasks:
  Enter and process prescriptions, maintain updated patient profiles, take detailed notes related to customer needs, process refills, and learn to manipulate Pioneer Rx Software effectively
• Accurately and timely adjudicate prescriptions for dispensing in-store and for home delivery, to maintain a successful daily workflow process
• Package medications for facilities and compliance packaging program
• Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory
• Assist walk-in customers and callers with general and customer service concerns
• Provide superior customer service to all patients and medical professionals
• Other duties as assigned

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• Retail pharmacy technician experience (chain or independent)
• Experience in customer service
• Ability to work weekdays and alternating Saturdays

• Strong, professional interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, continually changing environment
• Ability to problem-solve and follow through with tasks assigned
• Team player with a desire to work and grow with a small business
• Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented
• Technological literacy in Windows and Microsoft programs, and strong typing skills

• Previous experience in an independent pharmacy setting
• National CPhT Credentials
• PTCB Certification

A verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
