Position Overview

The Administrator in Training (AIT) program is designed to prepare individuals for leadership roles in long-term care administration. The AIT will work closely with experienced administrators and department heads to gain comprehensive knowledge of facility operations, regulatory compliance, and resident care.

Responsibilities
  • Training and Development:
    Participate in a structured training program covering all aspects of long-term care administration, including finance, human resources, resident care, and regulatory compliance.
  • Operational Management:
    Assist in the daily operations of the facility, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Learn and adhere to state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
  • Resident Care:
    Support the development and implementation of care plans to meet the needs of residents.
  • Staff Supervision:
    Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of facility staff.
  • Quality Improvement:
    Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and facility operations.
  • Financial Management:
    Gain experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care to residents.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic healthcare setting.
