As a Warehouse Associate
at our warehouse in Westbrook, Maine, you will be responsible for a variety of physical, clerical and customer support tasks associated with inbound and outbound distribution, materials handling and inventory control.

Schedule:This will be a 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 3 PM - 11:30 PM May be responsible for any or all of the following:
- Picks, packs, loads and ships products to national and international customers and distribution centers
- Prepares documentation and products, ensures accuracy of documentation and shipments, and troubleshoots and resolves issues as required
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials where needed, and staging finished product.
- Maintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse and environment
- Investigates and resolves inventory inaccuracies and provides root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actions
- Supports inventory processes, solutions and strategies for the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality; includes cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting and reporting
- Moves and stores equipment, raw materials and inventory for internal and external customers
- Supports instrument repair process including daily and routine shipping and receiving; tracks incoming and repaired materials, assuring system and operational readiness for the repair of instruments
- Administers instrument repair and field replacement programs, coordinates all failure analysis and reports, issues periodic reports on outstanding deliveries for inbound and outbound units, and coordinates all field returns, worldwide
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight time constraints
- Ability to effectively function in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good computer skills and knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Able to follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable ISO regulations
- Able to properly lift up to 75 pounds; ability to move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- For distribution and material handling work:
Willingness to be trained to operate a forklift, work with hazardous materials and other areas shipping processes
- Warehouse-type environment
- Ability to lift 75lbs.
- Normal warehouse environment where protective clothing may be required
- Moderate to high noise level
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to risk of electrical shock.
- An hourly rate target of $20/hour based on experience plus a $2 shift differential for 2nd shift
- Potential to increase hourly rate by $1/hour after being trained on IDEXX Forklift
