Our client is hiring a Snowflake Administrator / Data Support Engineer to support an enterprise cloud data platform environment. This role focuses on Snowflake administration, RBAC access management, SQL troubleshooting, AWS support, and production data operations.
Hybrid preferred in Westbrook, ME (open to Remote EST).
6-Month Contract | 2–3 Years Experience | Enterprise Data Platform
What You’ll Do- Administer Snowflake (user provisioning, RBAC, database creation)
- Monitor Snowflake performance, usage, and cost optimization
- Troubleshoot SQL queries and data pipeline issues
- Execute Git Hub-based deployments (Python & shell scripts)
- Participate in on‑call rotation for production support
- Document runbooks and support compliance efforts
- 2–3 years of IT / Data Platform experience
- Hands‑on Snowflake administration
- AWS familiarity (S3, EC2, Lambda)
- Strong experience with Snowflake environments
- RBAC and security management
- User access management
- Snowflake monitoring
- Basic performance troubleshooting
- Inner and outer joins
- Query writing and debugging
- Ability to read and understand complex queries
- Amazon S3
- EC2
- Lambda (basic familiarity)
- General cloud infrastructure understanding
- Git & Git Hub

This is a great opportunity for a Snowflake Admin looking to deepen experience in enterprise data warehouse operations, AWS cloud infrastructure, and production data support.
