Sr. Accountant

Description . The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls while driving process improvements and supporting strategic business decisions. Proficiency in Net Suite ERP is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.

- Oversee preparation and review of internal and external financial statements, footnotes, and related disclosures for a public company.

- Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets.

- Design and maintain effective internal controls to ensure SOX compliance in a manufacturing environment.

- Develop, document, and optimize business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

- Partner with external auditors for year-end audits and quarterly reviews; coordinate with tax advisors and other external consultants as required.

- Utilize Net Suite ERP for all accounting processes, reporting, reconciliations, and analytics.

- Analyze financial results, prepare variance analyses, and present insights to executive management.

- Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and business unit leaders to support cost reduction initiatives and gross margin improvements.

- Support quarterly earnings release preparation and coordinate with investor relations as needed.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

- Minimum 7 years progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing company.

- Prior experience in a publicly traded company and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements.

- Advanced expertise with Net Suite ERP-implementing, optimizing, reporting, and troubleshooting.

- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, SOX controls, and internal audit best practices.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.

- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.

- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA, CMA, or advanced degree.

- Experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing setting.

- Prior exposure to mergers, acquisitions, or integration projects.

- Strong Excel and data visualization/reporting skills; exposure to Power
