Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem Pool

Location: Westborough, MA
Pay: $27/hr
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Hours: 24 hours/week
Shift Options: 7p-7a or 3p-11p
Openings: 5
Start Date: 03/30/2026
Experience Required: 2+ years (Med-Surg or LTAC strongly preferred)

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Per Diem Pool. This role is essential in supporting nursing staff and delivering high-quality, hands-on care to patients. CNAs will work under the direct supervision of an RN, LPN/LVN, or another licensed healthcare professional, providing individualized care and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care according to established plans and under licensed supervision
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility
  • Perform non-professional healthcare tasks that support patient well-being
  • Report changes in patient condition promptly
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Support clinical staff with documentation and clerical tasks as needed
Minimum Requirements
  • Prefer 1 year of CNA experience within the last 3 years
  • Graduate of an approved CNA program with active, verified certification in good standing
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clerical functions
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)
  • Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

The ideal candidate has strong Med-Surg or LTAC experience, communicates well, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates a commitment to high-quality patient care.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years
  • Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
  • Current CPR if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
